What this is

Real work, not a simulation

Keystone Talent Bridge is a paid, 10-week workforce training and employment program that prepares people with disabilities and other barriers to employment for long-term success at work.

Participants are hired and paid to work in a fully operational production environment at Butler Coffee Lab. They contribute to real output and real business operations, not simulated tasks or busywork. Along the way they get structured training, individualized coaching, and direct connections to employer partners.

Everything is built around one goal: a successful transition into sustainable employment.

The progression

Assess · Train · Prepare · Place · Support

Five stages across ten weeks. The keystone sits at the center, where preparation locks into a real job.

Why this works

What makes this different

  • Real work, not simulated environments. Participants contribute to actual production and business operations.
  • Paid from day one. Including classroom training time, not just hours on the floor.
  • Training tied directly to job performance. Short, practical modules that connect to the day’s work.
  • A built-in employer pipeline. We’re an employment pipeline, not only a training program.
  • Focused on long-term employment, not short-term placement.

What we hold to

The six core commitments

Human Worth

Every person has value that isn’t earned through productivity. We start there.

A Clear Lens

We see people accurately, including strengths, goals, and support needs, without lowering expectations.

Inclusion

Participants work in the same building, on the same work, as everyone else.

Belonging

Being present isn’t the same as being part of a team. We build for the second one.

Accommodation & Support

Support is specific, practical, and adjusted as people grow.

Sustainability

Success is a job that lasts, for the participant and the employer.
